MEET THE TEAM
Thy Pham Nguyen, O.D.
Dr. Nguyen received her Doctor of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to attending school in Boston, Dr. Nguyen attended the University of Houston, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree.

Dr. Nguyen received training in various specialities including contact lens fittings, LASIK and cataract surgery co-management, dry eye treatment, and the management of Glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy. She enjoys working with all types of contact lenses, and has experience with hard to fit cases, including keratoconus patients, rigid gas permeable lenses, multifocal contacts, and orthokeratology.

Dr. Nguyen moved to The Woodlands from Houston 7 years ago and has seen many of the changes our community has gone through. Dr. Nguyen’s husband is a cardiologist in The Woodlands and along with their two children, they have made The Woodlands their home and love raising their family here.

Dr. Nguyen looks forward to providing great eye care and service for you and your family for many years to come.
DIVYA VANKAWALA, O.D.
Dr. Vankawala attended the University of Texas in Austin, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology, and subsequently moved to Chicago to attend The Illinois College of Optometry. After receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree, Dr. Vankawala decided to serve our nation’s veterans and furthered her education by completing a 1 year Ocular Disease residency program at the Louis Stokes Veterans Affairs Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Vankawala received extensive training in managing Diabetic Retinopathy, Hypertensive Retinopathy, Age-Related Macular Degeneration, and Glaucoma. She also enjoys working with all types of contact lenses.

Dr. Vankawala is a newcomer to the Houston area, originally from Dallas, Texas. She enjoys travelling all over the world and loves to volunteer. Dr. Vankawala recently got married in Bali, Indonesia and is excited to make Houston her home along with her husband. Dr. Vankawala prides herself in providing quality eye care and looks forward to serving all the members of The Woodlands community.
Hanh Dinh, O.D.
Dr. Hanh Dinh earned her biological sciences degree from the Lousiana State University in 2007. Following graduation, she took part in a pre-optometry summer program and worked as an ophthalmic technician for 2 years before pursuing a career in optometry in 2010.

During optometry school, she was a part of several clubs including the National Optometric Honor Society called Beta Sigma Kapa, Ocular Disease Club, and NOVA Optometric Practice Management Association. She graduated with honors and distinction from Nova Southeastern University, where she also received the Pediatric and Binocular Vision Clinical Excellence Award. She has also completed a residency in primary care with emphasis in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision.

Dr. Dinh is a currently a member of the College of Optometrist in Vision Development, American Academy of Optometry, and the Texas Optometric Association.

She currently resides in Spring, TX area and is loving the friendliness of all her fellow Texans. In her free time, she enjoys trying cooking, discovering new restaurants, reading, and traveling.
